TFCA's Workshop for Financial Coordinators

The Transplant Financial Coordinators Association will hold its next
"Workshop for Financial Coordinators" October 4-6,
2006 at the Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach. Located right on scenic King Harbor in
Redondo Beach, 7 miles south of Los Angeles International Airport, the Crowne
Plaza offers a multitude of amenities & activities for guests including the
Strand Bike Path (more than 20 miles long and perfect for walking, jogging,
skating & bicycling right along the beach) as well as numerous restaurants to
choose from, boat rides, golf (which can be arranged thru the hotel concierge),
fishing from the Redondo Beach Pier, and shopping at the nearby Del Amo Fashion
Center and South Bay Galleria as well as quaint shops up and down the beach in
Redondo, Hermosa, & Manhattan Beaches. Conference room rates will be $169.00
(plus all applicable taxes & fees) and will be extended, on a space available
basis, up to 3 days before and after the meeting.

Redondo Beach for those attending the Workshop at a special rate of $169.00 per
night (rooms on the Club Level are $199.00 per night). Hotel reservations can be

Please note, once our contracted room block is sold out,
rooms at the hotel, if available at all, may be at a higher rate than published
here. Your stay can be extended for up to 3 days before &/or after
the meeting dates of October 4-6, 2006 on a first come, space available
basis. It's a holiday weekend, so why not stay an extra day or two? You
will need a credit card to make the reservation, but your card will not be
charged until you check-in (if you will be arriving after 6pm, please be sure to
indicate that you will need a late check-in in the Special Requests section of
your reservation). If you have any problems making your reservation, please
contact me directly.
I've been asked if we're going to arrange any extra-curricular activities for
this Workshop like we did last year (VIP Tour of Universal Studios, taping of
"King of Queens")-honestly, we haven't thought that far ahead @ this point. BUT
that doesn't mean that you can't find plenty to do after the Workshop ends
anyway. The hotel concierge can make arrangements for you or your guests to play
golf @ the nearby Trump National Golf Club of Los Angeles
