A number of opportunities exist for Members to become involved with the activities of TFCA.

 

This Committee is charged with developing and updating The TFCA Resource Guide for Transplant Financial Coordinator, which contains a wealth of educational materials, reference sources, standardized forms, and other helpful "How To's" for TFC's of all levels of experience. A 5th Edition, which will be complimentary for all 2007 TFCA Members in Good Standing, is planned for publication & distribution at the 14th Annual UNOS Transplant Management Forum in April 2007.

TFC Survey Committee

This Committee is charged with updating the national TFC Survey, last presented at the UNOS Transplant Management Forum in '02, to assess compliance with the UNOS By-Laws pertaining to the Role of the TFC, as well as national trends in staffing & salary.  It is anticipated this material will be presented at Workshop '07.  To participate on this Committee, please contact Paula Summa, Chair.

Forms Fiesta

This Committee is charged with updating the Forms Fiesta CD-Rom presented at Workshop '05 in Los Angeles which contained a wealth of use forms compiled from TFCs nationwide.  It is anticipated this revised CD will be made available to TFCA Members in Good Standing for '07 at the upcoming 14th Annual UNOS Transplant Management Forum.  To participate on this Committee, or submit forms for inclusion, please contact Amy K. Workshop '07 Committee

This Committee is charged with developing the agenda & recruiting speakers for the 2007 TFCA Workshop for Financial Coordinators, date & location TBA.  Please note-at this time, participants on this Committee who wish to attend the Workshop will still be responsible for their own travel, housing, & Workshop registration expenses.  To participate on this Committee, or suggestion a speaker/topic, please contact president@tfcassociation.org.
