TFCA COMMITTEES 

 

A number of opportunities exist for Members to become involved with the activities of TFCA.
 
The TFCA Resource Guide for the TFC

This Committee is charged with developing and updating The TFCA Resource Guide for Transplant Financial Coordinator, which contains a wealth of educational materials, reference sources, standardized forms, and other helpful "How To's" for TFC's of all levels of experience. A 11th Edition, which will be complimentary for all 2013 TFCA Members in Good Standing, will be distributed to members upon receipt of membership dues..

To participate on this Committee, or to suggest material for inclusion in the next edition, please contact Debbie Mast, Chair.

Workshop '13 Committee

This Committee is charged with developing the agenda & recruiting speakers for the 2013 TFCA Workshop for Financial Coordinators, in 2013.  Please note-at this time, participants on this Committee who wish to attend the Workshop will still be responsible for their own travel, housing, & Workshop registration expenses.  To participate on this Committee, or suggestion a speaker/topic, please contact president@tfcassociation.org.

Fundraising '13 Committee

This committee is charged with working with sponsors within the transplant community and other interested parties for continued support from our sponsors and exhibitors allowing TFCA to provide continued education and networking opportunities for the Transplant Financial Coordinator.  Sponsors will be listed in the meeting brochure, the meeting materials, and on the TFCA

website. 

Bylaws Committee

This Committee is charged with reviewing the current by-laws and making recommendations to the TFCA board.

 

Credentialing Committee

The TFCA is investigating a collaborative effort with the American Board for transplant Certification (ABTC) to create and manage a certification examination.  The credentialing committee is charged with working with both the ABTC and transplant administrators in establishing funding for the preparation and administration of an exam.
